The built-in rotating mechanism allows regulation of the incoming air and the diaphragm of the speaking valve can be tuned exactly to the individual needs of the patient.
A particular feature is a strap extending from the housing, which facilitates the manual fine-tuning adjustment of the diaphragm and can be used as the spacer for textiles as a safety extra. It helps to prevent accidental inhalation of light materials into the tracheostomy.
